Westcott House

My mom and I found ourselves in Springfield, Ohio on Saturday afternoon after learning of the Westcott House, one of many homes designed by one of my favorite American architects, Frank Lloyd Wright. I happened to be in my home state for a wedding Friday evening, and I decided to make the most of my time in Ohio by spending Saturday afternoon seeing an additional Frank Lloyd Wright home and Sunday catching up with my college roommates.

I’m now close to 20,000 feet in the air on my way home to Nashville–in awe that I’m connected to the internet and deciding to take full advantage. I’m listening to Hide Away by Ben Rector and beginning to feel antsy to arrive home to my boys in time for the holiday.

Have a wonderful 4th, friends! I hope it’s spent with your favorite people, eating your favorite food, and listening to your favorite tunes.
