Happy 2016! I hope your New Year is off to a great start! I began 2016 bright and early at Elizabeth Suzann as we launched The White Collection on New Year’s Day. Jared and I spent day two here at home. One of my favorite reasons for staying home throughout the day is to catch the sunlight that circles our living room throughout the afternoon. I grabbed a few of my favorite knick knacks and snapped a few photos in the sunlight, including a new-to-me Frank Lloyd Wright book. It was a gift from my mother at Christmastime, and it now lives on my coffee table next to its perfect counterpart.

My mother is one of those people who simply rocks at Christmastime. She listens and observes new interests throughout the entire year, and come Christmas morning, I open well-wrapped boxes to find treats that are personal and so special. I will do Christmastime like her next year. I WILL!

You can find a copy of Apartamento at Wilder here in Nashville, along with the light prism and copper watering can. The candle snuffer is a gift from my great aunt. The magnifying glass and sigma cards are vintage finds. The marble home is a gift from my sweet friend, Laura Lea. Lastly, the cheerful deck of cards is from Misc. Goods Co.
