This past week I began working with Elizabeth Suzann, a Nashville-based designer whom I have long admired. Elizabeth designs elegant and comfortable clothing in her Berry Hill studio, a place filled with creativity, kindness, and lots of donuts.
Working in design is certainly something new for me. The past six years have been filled with countless standardized tests, hours of biological research, and an MCAT. Though I highly respect the scientific field, I felt a hunger for design and a new form of creativity. I met Elizabeth at a fashion presentation this past November, and we instantly connected. My husband and family began encouraging me more than ever to pursue this part of myself. The metamorphosis out of science and into design has been both enriching and beautiful. And I welcome the molding and growth that are ahead.
Thank you for sharing in time of change with me. Have a wonderful week ahead!
